Rebecca Liebig

born in 1972

After her training as a medical assistant and her first state law examination in 2002, she was actively involved in staff representation during her employment at a health insurance company. In 2013, she began working as a trade union secretary for ver.di in Hesse, took over the deputy regional management of Rhineland-Palatinate-Saarland in 2019 and was elected to the ver.di Federal Executive Board by a large majority of delegates at the national congress in September 2023. There she is responsible for issues such as pension policy, occupational health and safety, participation policy, migration and integration.

Rebecca Liebig has been a member of the Social Advisory Council since 2024.
